I’m a yankee living happily in the South for now. I’ve certainly come to enjoy the wonderful year round weather. I like to bake, cook, eat… anything that has anything to do with food and I’m there in a flash. I’m hoping to take a few classes on cake decorating and general baking in 2009.
Where did I get the name for this place? From everyone really. Growing up my parents always called me pretty girl. Then in summer of 2007 a certain someone called me his pretty girl, and then a friend of ours addressed me as that and it’s stuck ever since then. I talk to friends who I haven’t talked to in awhile and I get that greeting and really I have no idea why I get called that more often than anything else. So I decided that it was only natural that Pretty Girl Bakery became my place to be pretty and bake.
